About The Telfordaires

The Telfordaires originated over thirty years ago when they were known as the Madeley & District Male Voice Choir. After some members became interested in the Barbershop Harmony Sound, they joined the British Association of Barbershop Singers, (BABS). Currently ranked eighth out of the sixty or so choruses in the country, the group are now the premier chorus in the region and boast a singing membership of nearly thirty men, from all walks of life, and of all ages! We are always looking for new members, so if you enjoy singing and are looking for a new challenge, and to improve your vocal quality, then why not come and visit us at our rehearsal venue at Lawley, Telford.
